    Live, unsupervised for five months

    Turns a query into an interactive, zoomable concept map, then into a collaborative graph with semantic search and voting. Embeddings and moderation run locally, so there is no external call on the hot path.

    Voice-first AI payroll, bookkeeping and compliance

    Active development, pre-launch

    Built for Latvian small and medium businesses. An agent with 130+ tools answers questions from a document corpus and cites its sources, and reads data out of scanned documents. The public landing page carries demo videos and a live chat with streaming voice.

Where the current work sits.

  1. Rust

    Protocol tooling, wallets and CLIs at Tari, built around a settled protocol core. A WASM and C-FFI SDK, then Go and Python SDKs layered on it.

  2. Go

    AudioText Live: about 16 single-purpose services over NATS JetStream. Built solo, now open source.

  3. C++

    Reads it comfortably. An SMTP and POP3 mail server at Latnet, and a 3D game on Ogre3D with Python embedded in the engine.

  1. TypeScript

    NestJS back ends and React front ends at Ubiquiti and Tari. A visual node-and-arrow builder for composing and executing Layer-2 transactions, shipped as a VS Code extension.

  2. Python

    ootle-py, an async-first, fully typed SDK, published to PyPI.

  3. SQL

    Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL, from core banking through to data infrastructure.

  1. Elixir

    Powers Vectree, live in production and unsupervised for five months and counting.

  2. Scala

    Production akka, cats-effect, fs2 and http4s on clustered, event-sourced systems running 24/7.

  3. Haskell

    A client library for the Betfair Exchange API, and CLASH for compiling Haskell to FPGA.

  4. F#

    Production work at ZZ Dats, grown out of the twelve-year .NET tenure there.

  5. OCaml

    The core of Kalve's backend, on Dream, Lwt and Caqti.

Infrastructure

The three independent products are self-hosted end to end, from bare metal up: cluster, deploys, monitoring, backups. All of it built from nothing and still running. Vectree has been live on that setup, unsupervised, for five months.

At Tari, shipped Kubernetes workloads through GitOps: Kustomize and Helm driven by Flux across several environments, with Prometheus Operator alerting on business signals rather than only host metrics.

  1. Tari Labs

    Senior Software Engineer

    A high-throughput data-infrastructure company. Authored 900+ pull requests and reviewed 600+ across 36 repositories.

    • Co-built a data-aggregation platform indexing multiple external networks, with 100+ specialized workers on Kubernetes, backed by TimescaleDB, Redis Streams, Kafka and RabbitMQ.
    • One of the developers on a market-bid ingestion pipeline sustaining peak ~500 req/s, moving the source from third-party WebSockets to direct Kafka, into a PostgreSQL to Elasticsearch search pipeline.
    • Built a production Rust WASM and C-FFI SDK for a distributed protocol, then layered Go and Python SDKs on top of it. Co-built a multi-account CLI covering scanning, fee estimation and reorg handling.
    • Built a visual transaction-flow builder as a VS Code extension in React Flow: connect nodes with arrows to compose and execute Layer-2 transactions.
    • Contributed to a real-time WebSocket event-streaming service and a shared Kubernetes IaC platform with OpenTelemetry and Prometheus observability. Took over and extended a correctness-critical asset-transfer service on AWS Lambda.
